Well this appears to be where DNA Art comes into play, capturing the personality, traits, temperament and of course genetic make up of the 'person in the picture'. Origianlly pioneered by 2 Canadian artists come businessmen they decided to capture a person from the inside out with a portrait of their DNA.
1 of the men in question, a scientist, had access to equipment that was able to produce images of a persons DNA. When he first saw a picture of his own genetic make-up he commented on how beautiful it was and then got to thinking with a friend of his, a marketing specialist.
You can see the plan coming together from here, right?
From here the 2 Canadians began to monetize this unique form of portrait and DNA 11 Art was born.
It has been described as 'Andy Warhol meets CSI' and like all good trends to grace our lives it has been met with some of the usual skepticism. However, the initial trickle of requests has now formed into a thriving business of completely unique artwork.
Not surprising when you see that each piece of artwork is not only unique but also completely and totally personal to you.
No doubt DNA 11 Art will be around for a long time and certainly it will be a phrase that will keep our typing fingers occupied for some time to come.
Would You Give Your DNA Up For Art?
